Our Story

Hi, I'm Bella!

I'm 13 years old, one of six kids, and I have some pretty big dreams.

I'm a dancer, singer, guitarist, performer, and one day I hope to perform on Broadway. It's a dream I've had for so long, but it's also an expensive one. Between years of training, competitions, travel and the possibility of a $20,000 working visa, I knew I wanted to start working towards my future now, so I used birthday and Christmas money I'd been saving to start my very first business.

That's how Sweet Tempo was born.

Sweet Tempo combines two of my favourite things - lollies and the rhythm of music and dance. If you know me, you'll know I'm obsessed with candy, and I wanted to create a business that spreads a little happiness while helping me chase my dreams.

Being one of six children has taught me the value of working hard and making the most of every opportunity. Every order helps me invest in dance classes, workshops and experiences that bring me one step closer to Broadway.

I also have another big goal—to grow Sweet Tempo so that by the time I'm 16, I'll have my own warehouse packed full of colourful candy and orders heading out all over Australia.

While I'm the heart and driving force behind Sweet Tempo, I couldn't do it alone. My mum, Alisha, helps bring my ideas to life by managing the website, packing orders and taking care of all the behind-the-scenes jobs, so together we can make this dream a reality.

Behind every Sweet Tempo order is a dream that's much bigger than candy. You're helping a young dancer work towards Broadway, build a business she hopes will one day fill its own warehouse, and prove that age should never stand in the way of ambition.
